Devenu cynique, il a renoncé à tout et n'est plus que l'ombre de lui-même. Gallen online, limbo Meet Me In St. La force de leur amour pourra-t-elle survivre à leur destin qui semble inexorable. It follows pretty much the current trend of local indie romance films which use the conversations between two people to show the development of their relationship. On their second meeting, Jesse and Celeste met in another coffee shop. Villamor navigates around almost all the pleasures of a traditional romance, but instead of pursuing escapist endeavors, she perseveres to upend the very heart of almost all love stories.
Meet Me In St Gallen Review - I am baffled with the logic behind this situation.
Celeste Bela Padilla and Jesse Carlo Aquino first met in a coffee shop in a stressful day that they just want to forget. However, everything changes when the two made a meaningful conversation that led them into a night to remember. They both choose to end it in what it is and decided not to contact each other or even became Facebook friends. Four years later, the two unexpectedly bump into each other which eventually leads them to cherish that one night that they are together. Will the two finally break the glass and decide to take a step forward from first meet up? Following the same footsteps which Mr. Cruz took comes Meet Me in St. Gallen, which proves that these kinds of romantic stories can actually work and worth having in our cinemas. It is not your typical rom-com that evidently shows a drawn pattern that we just need to connect the dots in order to see the result of the generic plot. It also confirms that a film can turn out beautiful with just two appealing stars throwing lines with each other. The film is split into three parts which we can just see three days in the life of both characters in the span of six years. We only have small details about these two compelling characters, but we can still feel the sincerity and simplicity of the entire material. I just don't agree to into some important decisions which the characters have made, but it is well-constructed especially at the first and second part of this 90-minute masterpiece. Director Irene Villamor who also wrote the material has fascinating lead stars who made her unique story come to life. Bela Padilla once again showcases her talent in her as you can really feel the genuineness of her acting. You can really feel her emotions, and somehow I can't understand how can she make her character come up naturally that easy. Carlo Aquino, on the other hand, made the most out of this golden opportunity and made his presence felt with the same strong performance that compliments his co-star. The two stars are just electrifying on the screen as you can really feel the chemistry in them.
